Lowell F. Schmidt, age 96, passed away at home with family on January 12, 2024.

Lowell was preceded in death by his wife Betty, parents; brothers, Carl, Norman and Lyle; sisters Helen and Loraine (who passed away on January 1, 2024, just 20 days short of her 102nd birthday).

He is survived by sons David (Lois), Mount Horeb, WI; Rick, Ladysmith; Les (Barb), Wabasha, MN; and Jim, Weyerhaeuser, WI; as well as 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 27 at Faith United Methodist Church, W8125 Shady Lane, Ladysmith, WI 54848.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, with the service at 11:00 am and a luncheon to follow in the Church fellowship room.  Internment of Dad's ashes will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made directly to the Faith United Methodist Church.
