Mark J. Shimko, 59 of St. Cloud, MN, died Friday, September 6, 2019 in Minneapolis, MN.

He is survived by his wife Holly; 4 children: Christopher Shimko of Scott Township, PA, Dustin Shimko of Macomb, IL, Monika Shimko of Lapeer, MI and Mikhail Shimko of Montrose, MN; 2 step-children: Derrick Anderst of St. Louis Park, MN and Danielle Kiedrowski of Bismark, ND; 6 grandchildren; his parents Martin A. & Kathleen Shimko of Ladysmith, WI; 2 sisters: Wendy & Fred Mosier of St. Charles, IL, Peggy Shimko and her husband Steve Kingerly of Eagan, MN, 3 brothers: Martin E. & Joseph of Coon Rapids, MN, Kenneth & Roberta of Fall Creek, WI and Timothy & Kristina of Hudson, WI and his beloved dog Melvin.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ladysmith with Rev. Craig Zandi officiating. Burial, with military honors provided by the Ladysmith Veterans Association, will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday morning at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service.
