Marlene Rose Smrstick, 93 of Ladysmith, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Cambridge Senior Care in Eau Claire due to a recent injury sustained from a fall.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Harvey & Ella (Buchholz) Spresser, husband LeRoy Smrstick four months prior and her son-in-law Bob Hirschkorn.

She is survived by her son Randy and wife Cindy, daughter Luane and partner Tom, son Kevin and wife Gail.  They had 7 grandchildren, Jenni, Stacy, Loree, Tim, Kristin, Amanda and Jared. They had 10 great-grandchildren, Kylie, Makenzie, Cayden, Tyler, Trevor, Sage, Austin, Shyanne, Tucker and Ryler and a baby due in July, making it 11 grands.

A private funeral service will be held.
