Mary (Elaine) Britten, 82, of Island Lake passed away at Woodstone Senior Living, Rice Lake under their care and the Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice System on April 24, 2018.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 62 years, Nick, daughter, Jolene of Bloomington, MN, son, Frank of Island Lake, WI, grand-daughter, Lindsey of Highlands, CA, two grandsons, Nick and Josh, both of Island Lake, three sisters, Mildred (George) of Waterloo, IA, Karen of Fayette, IA, and Jan (Bill) of Maynard, IA, and a special sister-in-law, Linda Hannan of Oelwein IA.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2017 at Island Lake Church of Christ, Hwy 40, Island Lake, WI  (about 10 miles south of Bruce). Elaine's family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Church.
