Mary Jo "Joey" Merget (Vollendorf) of Hawkins, passed away at her home after a courageous 2-year battle with cancer on Friday, February 24, 2023.

She is survived by her husband Terry, brothers Keith (Lana) Vollendorf, Fairfield Glade, TN; Rick a/k/a Beatle (Pat) Vollendorf, Hawkins; sister Lori (Bruce) Stelzer, Venice, FL, Cali her cat, ten special nieces and nephews; stepchildren Barb Enloe; Robert (Mark) Enloe; Lori (Mark) Heinecke; Teri (Andy) Merget; Arthur (Kari) Merget; and numerous grandkids and great-grandkids.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Fritz and Lorraine Vollendorf; stepson John Enloe; and her beloved pets, Emma, Baby, Tipsy, Tigger and Toto.

A service will be scheduled in the spring or summer, 2023.
