Obituary
Maurice M. Stam, Sr. 87 died on Saturday, January 30th, 2016 at his home in Hawkins.
He is survived by his wife Rose, 2 sons and 1 step-daughter: Corey & Jessica Goerdt Morrow of Brookings, SD; Jeffrey & Lucy Morrow of Waukegan, IL, and Mary Hash of Hawkins.
He is also survived by: 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 brother Glendon Stam of Oregon.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2016 at the South Lawrence Mennonite Church in Ingram with Alvin Stoll and Matt Zacharias officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Ladysmith Veterans Association. Burial will be at a later date in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Spooner.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are requested for The Rusk County Shop With a Cop Program C/O Rusk County Sheriff's Department 311 E. Miner Avenue Ladysmith, WI 54848
The Stam family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Tuesday at the Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith and for an hour prior to service time on Wednesday at the Church
