Michael Wayne Bodner, Sr. 64 of Exeland, died on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at his home of natural causes following a 1-year, 3-month illness.

He is survived by his wife Shirley; 2 sons, Michael Bodner and Christopher Bodner; 1 daughter, Jessica Rudi, 4 grandchildren.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Michael, Sr. & Minnie Lee, his step-father Charles Lee; 1 daughter, Margery Lynn Bodner; 5 sisters, Sandra Weston, Vickie Hatten, Darlene Kostrzewski, Susan Livingston, Yvonne Lee, 1 brother, Charles Lee; 3 brothers-in-law, Vane McElhaney, Phillip McElhaney and David McElhaney; and 2 sisters-in-law, Loretta Petterson and Beverley Clyed and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held this summer on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 1:00 PM at George Cole's farm on Cole Road in Exeland with a picnic to follow.
