Norbert J. "NUBBY" Krings, 86 of Hawkins, died on Sunday; June 21st, 2015 at The Rusk County Memorial Hospital in Ladysmith.

He is survived by his wife Myrtle, 1 son Dennis & Janice, 1 daughter Karen & Jerry Howard, all of Hawkins. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Stacy & Bryan Veldhuizen, Justin & Ronica Howard, Ryan Krings and Nichole Kron, Jennifer Krings and James Stamper; 7 great-grandchildren: Kelsey, Stefany, Amanda, Christina, Taylor, Antonio, Hailie; 1 sister and 4 brothers: Viola "Tootsie" Dost, Orville & Helen, all of Hawkins, Elgin of Suring, Ricky of Watertown, Kenneth & Rochelle of Brooklyn Park, MN; 1 sister in law, Irene Krings of California and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday; June 27th, 2015 at 11:30 AM at Bethel Lutheran Church in Hawkins with Rev. Jody Becker officiating. Nubby's family will receive friends at the Church from 10:00 AM until service time. The Hawkins Veteran's will provide Military Burial Rites at the Church following the service.
