Norman H. Thorson, Jr.

Norman Herbert Thorson, Jr., 87 of Ladysmith, died Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Care & Rehab - Ladysmith. He was born on September 10, 1938 in New Lisbon, WI to Norman Herbert & Zelpha (Birdsill) Thorson, Jr. On October4, 1958, Norman married Judy (Joyce) Haus in Westby, WI. She preceded him in death in October 2023.

Norman was a farmer and logger. He loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his family.

Survivors include his son: Paul (Michelle) of Exeland, WI, his daughter: Norma (John) of Exeland, four grandchildren: Bryan, Tricia, Casey and Travis and six great-grandchildren: Abby, Caydence, Ryder, Brody, Cole and Nora and his sister: Gloria "Toots" (Willard) Clark of Two Harbors, MN.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents: Norman & Zelpha Thorson, his wife: Judy and two brothers: Monty and Robert Thorson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Nash - Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce where a eulogy and time of sharing will begin at 6:30 P.M.
