Phyllis Darlene (Engel) Vetterkind, 84, of Bruce, WI died on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Marshfield Medical Center - Ladysmith.

She is survived by a son; Bill Sabean, 4 daughters; Tammy Elwell, Jody (Jesse) Shimko, Lisa (Randy) Inczauskis and Bridget (Charlie) Schroeder, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers; Randy (Kathy) Engel and Bob Engel and 6 sisters; Virginia Sihlberg, Barb Mason, Joyce (Roger) Colombe, Sandy Emerson, Becky (Jay) Wicker and Linda (Kevin) Plan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Fred & Pearl Engel, 1 son; David, 1 son-in-law; Donny Elwell, 2 brothers; Arnold Engel and Larry Engel and 2 sisters; Dorothy Maltby and Debbie Jordan.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Christie Mountain, W13755 Cty Rd O, Bruce, WI 54819.

Phyllis will be laid to rest privately at a later date at Windfall Cemetery in Exeland.
