Ray S. Wimer, 84, of Sheldon, WI, died on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at his home.

Ray is survived by his wife, Deloris, 3 sons; Ray L. Wimer, Robert A. & Lora Wimer, and Edward L. & Lori Wimer, 2 daughters; Cynthia A. & David Benson, and Sandra M. & Warren Harding, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 1 brother; Ralph W. Wimer, 1 sister; Cecile Ruth Erickson and 1 sister-in-law; Marge Wimer.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Sheldon Full Gospel Tabernacle with John Holm and Jim Alder officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Sheldon with Military Burial Rites provided by the Sheldon American Legion. Ray's family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith where a military salute will be held at 6:00 PM. Friends are also welcome at the church on Thursday for an hour prior to service time.
