Raymond S. Kopacz, 79, of Sheldon, WI died Thursday evening, July 18, 2013 at Ladysmith Care and Rehab.

Raymond is survived by his wife Virginia and their 8 sons: John of Sheldon, Paul & Cindy of San Jose, CA, Joseph of Chicago, IL, David & Debra of Madison, WI, Tom & Theresa of Glenwood City, WI, Mark & Kelly of Roberts, WI, Karl & Tricia of Sheldon and Daniel & Tracy of Sheldon, 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers: Henry and Victor & Kathy both of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and 2 sisters: Mary Bebel of Mendota Heights, MN and Mariann & Kenneth Scheuren of New Berlin, WI.

Funeral services for Raymond will be held Tuesday, July 23rd at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Catholic Church in Sheldon with Fr. Sleeva officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Sheldon. Friends may call on Monday after 4:00 P.M. at the Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith, WI where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 P.M.. There will also be an hour of visitation on Tuesday at the church prior to time of services. A memorial is being established in Raymond's name.
