Raymond P. "Ray" Lazar, 91 of Hawkins, died on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 in Fall Creek with his youngest daughter, Ann, by his side.

He is survived by 3 daughters; Vickie (Ken) Schafer, Lisa Stamper and Ann Lazar, 2 grandchildren; Brianna Lazar and Michael Schafer and 1 great-grandson; Raymond Lazar-Webster.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; Mike & Martha (Misialek) Lazar, his wife Fay on March 24, 2010, 1 son-in-law; Harold Stamper, 4 brothers; Frank, Steve, Leonard and infant brother Paul Lazar and 8 sisters; Marie Strelka, Alvina Palcheck, Sophie Cupinski, Regina Haines, Helen Sisko, Florence Babula and infant sisters Elizabeth and Stephania.

A memorial mass of christian burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hawkins with Fr. Papi Reddy Yeruva and Deacon Craig Voldberg officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Hawkins. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the church with a rosary beginning at 12:30 PM.
