Raymond A. Tousey, 61, of Ladysmith, died Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI after a yearlong battle with lung cancer.

He is survived by his wife, Amy; one son, Anthony, Ladysmith. He is further survived by one sister, Marlena Bischoff, Shell Lake; two sisters-in-law, Jean Tousey, Fond du Lac and Barb Tousey, West Bend; cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Sr. and Rosemarion (Wahnschaffe) Tousey; three brothers, Charles, Leo, and Harry Jr.; one sister, Elizabeth.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at St John's Lutheran Church, 515 W College Ave, Ladysmith, WI with Pastor Craig Zandi officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM before the service. Cremation has taken place; private burial will be at a later date.

Plans have begun for a gathering on Ray's birthday, September 28th, at the Brothertown Indian Nation Community Center in Fond du Lac, WI, time TBD.
