Richard "Dick" Gene Elwood, age 75 from Weyerhaeuser, WI passed away at the Atrium Center in Chetek, WI.

He is survived by his wife Diane, step-son; Ken (Jodi) Silvernail, 2 very special grandkids; Jayton and LaBrya, a siser; Barbara (Jerry) Prorok, sisters-in-law; Donna Elwood, Karen (Rod) Thompson, brother-in-law; David (Lynne) Wierzba, mother-in-law; Gen Wierzba, nieces; Jill, Ami, Kim and Valerie and nephews; Rick, Tony, Jason and Troy.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at SS. Peter & Paul Church in Weyerhaeuser with Fr. Inna Pothireddy officiating. Burial will be in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner at 2:00 PM on Thursday.

Richard's family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 10 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce where a Scripture Service will be held at 7:00 PM. There will also be an hour of visitation starting at 9:00 AM on Thursday at the church.
