He is survived by his wife Christine Myhre, 2 sons and 1 daughter: Richard Sowatzke Jr., Daniel & Nicole Sowatzke and Angel Sowatzke & Daniel Esser all of Janesville, WI
6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren a brother Robert and 2 sisters: JoAnne Barker and Dorothy Strunz
