Bob lived a life full of passion, humor, and dedication.
Robert “Bob” A. Raap, age 82, of Park Falls, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at Park Manor River’s Edge on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
Born on May 14, 1944, in Park Falls to the late Norene-Raap Manning and Walter Raap Sr., Bob lived a life full of passion, humor, and dedication. He graduated from UW-Stout, where he was a member of the Sigma Chapter of the Kappa Fraternity, and went on to share his talents as an Industrial Arts teacher for 30 years at St. Francis High School in St. Francis, Wisconsin.
Known affectionately by loved ones as “the world's oldest teenager,” Bob will be remembered by all who knew him for his intelligence, sharp wit and his lifelong love of Corvettes. He thoroughly enjoyed 26 years of retirement, spending his time camping, traveling with friends, and attending Rock Fest and Hodag Country Music Festival.
Bob is survived by his brother, Walter (Patricia) Raap, Jr. and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his aunt Helen Smedegard, and his uncle Harvey Smedegard.
A celebration of Robert’s life and a memorial service will be held at a later date. His family extends deep gratitude to the staff at Park Manor River’s Edge for their compassionate care during his final days, and to Dr. Danial for his exceptional care and friendship.
A complete obituary will also be published in the Price County Review.
