Robert W. "Bob" Veness,69 died on Saturday, February 28th, 2015 at his home in Ladysmith.

He is survived by 2 children: Michelle & Richard Makinia of Ladysmith and Edward & Holly Veness of Marinette. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 4 brothers and 2 sisters: Dick & Cindy Veness, Mike & Donna Veness, Dave & Julie Veness all of Exeland, Bill & Lori Veness of Fond du Lac, Kay Robarge of Waukesha and Judy & Dick Schott of Bruce.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 5th, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Ladysmith with Deacon Craig Voldberg officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Ladysmith with Military Honors provided by the Ladysmith Veterans Association. Bob's family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Wednesday at the Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith and for an hour prior to service time on Thursday at the church.
