Robert H. Brinkmeyer, 93 of Holcombe, died on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at his home of natural causes.

He is survived by 1 brother; Douglas (Vickie) Brinkmeyer of Garden Prairie, IL, 1 niece; Deborah (Joshua) Nelson, 2 great-nephews; Owen and Oliver Nelson, 2 great-nieces; LeAnn and Lauren Brinkmeyer, special friends; Joas Swartzentruber & family, Wayne Johnson, Ora & Melvin Miller & family, Anson Teinter, Bernard Geist and many friends in the Amish community in the Sheldon area.

He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine, parents Harold & Gertrude Brinkmeyer, 2 brothers; Raymond (Donna) Brinkmeyer of Caledonia, IL, Darrell (Sarah) Brinkmeyer of Caledonia, IL, 1 sister; Betty (Jim) Grubb of Byron, IL and a nephew; Daniel Brinkmeyer.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheldon with Pastor Brian Beardsley officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday at the church. Military honors will be provided by Sheldon American Legion Post 316 and will immediately follow the service on Thursday at the church. Burial will be at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery in Sheldon.
