Ron will be remembered for his love of music, his enjoyment of the outdoors, and the many memories he created with family and friends.
Ronald Kruppe, 71, of Glen Flora, was born February 24, 1955 and passed away peacefully on November 5, 2026, with his loving wife by his side.
Ron is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Pamela Kruppe (Mallo); his two sons, James and David (Rahbekah); three grandchildren, Aiden (Jade), Alyssa, and Joseph; and his great-grandson, Michael. He is also survived by his brothers, Raymond (Chris), George, Richard and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Sophie Kruppe; his sisters, Jeanette, Sylvia, Edna, and Gloria; his brother, Robert; and sister in law Annie.
Ron had a lifelong love of music, which was a big part of who he was. In his younger years, he was a well-known drummer for several area bands, sharing his love of music and bringing joy to those around him.
When he wasn't making music, Ron enjoyed spending his free time hunting, fishing, and most of all, relaxing with a cold PBR, good friends, and family. He appreciated the simple pleasures in life and the time spent with the people who meant the most to him.
Ron will be remembered for his love of music, his enjoyment of the outdoors, and the many memories he created with family and friends. Though he will be deeply missed, the love he shared and the memories he leaves behind will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Tony with Fr. Ed Kornath and Deacon Craig Voldberg officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Monday at the church. Burial will follow in Ingram Cemetery.
A complete obituary will also be published in the Ladysmith News.
