Stephen R. Thomas, 76 of Sheldon, passed away on August 29, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center - Eau Claire.

He is survived by his 3 children; Steven Thomas of Chicago, IL, Audrey (Korey Fischer) Thomas of Exeland and Scott (Angela Wagner) Thomas of Sheldon, 6 grandchildren; Nathan Schumann, Alexandria (Steve) Stariha, Anna Rheingans, Dalton Thomas, Amber Thomas and Emily Thomas, 2 great-grandchildren; Adeline Stariha and Liam Elliott, 3 sisters; Patricia Klein-Shoemaker of Punta Gorda, FL, Alice (Chuck) Lipford of Onalaska, WI and Theresa (Harvey) Eckdahl of Manistique, MI and many nieces and nephews.

Stephen was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters.

Interment will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI where there will be a brief service and an honor guard ceremony.

There will be a celebration of life held shortly after the burial service at the Rice Lake Area Veterans Service Center, 1404 Macauley Ave., Rice Lake, WI 54868.
