Steven D. Balko, 68 of Conrath, died Sunday, October 1, 2023 at his home.

He is survived by 2 children: Stephanie & James Chiovarie of Barrington, IL and Russell & Nicole Balko of Amery, 1 granddaughter: Lillian Balko of Bruce, 2 sisters: Holly & Scott Martin of Plymouth, MN and Colleen Wold of Ladysmith and 2 sisters-in-law: Andrea Balko of Morris, MN and Vicki Balko of Tucson, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Wilmond "Bill" & Hazel (Klemm) Balko, his middle child: Renee Balko and 2 brothers: Mark and Scott Balko.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 7th at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ladysmith with Rev. Craig Zandi officiating. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, October 6th from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith and again on Saturday morning at the church from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
