Verna L. Perona, 96 of Cameron, and formerly of Ladysmith, died on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Barron.

She is survived by daughter; Patti (Ed) Mansky of Waunakee, grandson; Brent (Alison) and great-grandchildren; Brynn and Braden all of Williams Bay, grandson Ryan (Bianca) of Windsor and granddaughter Kristin of Ojai, CA and daughter; Terri (Kevin) Richie of Cameron, grandchildren; Cara (Ric) James of Kaiserslautern, Germany, Kayla Barzola of Cameron and Grant (Kristina) Richie of Hope Mills, NC and great-grandchildren; Jaiden, Grayson, Raelynn, Christian, Annora, Elena, Brooklyn and Emilia, a brother-in-law; Paul Kroening of Ladysmith and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Verna Perona will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith with David Willingham officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Verna will be laid to rest with her husband Nibs at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
