Wyde A. Peterson, 79, of Ladysmith, died on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen, 3 sons; David & Kathleen of Cheyenne, WY, John & Sue of Poulsbo, WA and Steve & Dawn of Seward, NE, 3 daughters; Diane Peterson of Madison, WI, Julie & Ron Barger of Antigo, WI and Cecelia Hernandez of Maplewood, MN, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 1 sister; Marcia Belisle of Radisson, WI along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Wyde Peterson will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 10 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Ladysmith with Deacon Doug Sorenson officiating. Wyde's family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Tuesday, April 9 at the Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith and again on Wednesday for an hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery in Bruce, WI.
