Gilbert M. Johnson, 87, of Ladysmith, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at his home.

Gil is survived by his wife, Jean, of Ladysmith; daughters, Cheri (Jim) Lee of Bruce, WI and their children, Brandon and Aaron; Trudy (David) Quillen of Hollytree, AL and her children, Noel, Noah, Micah, Michaela, Malachi, Moriah and Seth; and Tresa (Mike) Juedes and their children, Kyle and Cody (Harlie).  He is also survived by a great-granddaughter, Taehler Lee, and a sister, Judy Dappen of Florida.

Gil was preceded in death by his parents, Maynard and Daisy (Wolf) Johnson, brother, Don (Joan) Johnson and brother-in-law, Glen Dappen.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 30th at 11:00 am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ladysmith with visitation from 9:00 am -10:45 am at the church.
